Anita Briem is a genuine Icelandic export. She recently starred at the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth", A story native to the Icelandic landscape. Snæfellsjökull is where the journey to the center of the earth begins. She was probably an easy cast. Who do you think is better to deal with rock-hard surfaces than Icelandic girls?
Hollywood is always looking for the next big thing and for a foreign actor, a Hollywood movie has the potential to take their career to a whole new level, regardless of what country they are from.
Anita Briem is a unique talent. Native to Iceland she emerged in the U.S. in the role of Jane Seymour on Showtime in The Tudors.
Now Anita Briem hopes to break into feature film with a role as Icelandic guide Hannah Sigurbjörnsdóttir in the adaptation of Jules Verne's Journey To The Center Of The Earth.

I think that Iceland as a country deserves to be proud of something else except... Björk. Well, at least for the time being, Anita Briem is a beautiful example for that exception.
okay she may be a cute icelandic blonde actress; but why oh why did she leave henry tudor ?:)
ReplyDeleteIf you're exporting Icelandic actresses, we've got room. And be proud that you're now personally responsible for increasing the population of beautiful Icelandic girls.
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely! Bjork has nothing on her...
