Wasting time

Is anybody already read Sarah Palin new book "Going Rogue"? My new book wish list in Amazon include two new autobiographies. Andre Agassi's "Open" and Sarah is going rough. In this time of the year Iceland becoming little bit gloomy, not much of sun light, it's cold and windy, gossip and sensational literature is the perfect combination for wasting time.

Sarah Palin

No risk of lines like that here in Iceland.

  1. I'm a huge fan of hers and I do plan on reading her book. But I wouldn't be willing to go to such lengths to have her sign a copy.

And that's not to say I'd automatically vote for her for president either. We'll have to see how that all goes.

One thing I do know, is that people like myself believe her when she says something. It's just a simple matter of trust someone...

  3. I like your approach Kevin. Making the distinction between being fan of her and on the other hand be willing to vote for her for presidency.

Let's face it, to be trust worthy isn't all what it takes to run the world.

Although I must add the having Sarah as president will be definitely be interesting. A reason for itself worth to be considering seriously even more than trust worthy.

  4. Andrea: I wish I had to opportunity to walk be books and just ignore them.

Since I moved to Iceland, I seldom visit book stores, and when I do I give each and every one of them the full attention almost as they were my future bride candidates.

  5. Yes, Sarah is interesting, but her reality leaves something to be desired. She has a handle on some things and her ambition and ego could rival many seasoned U.S. politicians, but she is totally ignorant of so many things that she is a bit scary. If, on the outside chance she would be elected president, I might have to leave. I am afraid of the type of cabinet and advisers she would choose. At least she gets everyone motivated one way or another.

  7. Jon, you say you'd be afraid of the people she'd choose for her cabinet and advisors. How so?

And Lucia, you say she's treating Levi badly. I hope you're being sarcastic with that statement.

I think she's treating him a hell of a lot better than most women would in a similar situation...
