Arctic fox on the run

Today we went on a day trip around Snæfellsjökull volcano. In general volcanos are very popular subject lately in Iceland, so it was natural for us to take a trip around the local life treating mountain. In case you didn't know, Snæfellsjökull is very much active volcano.

After a stop for coffee and cake at Hotel Búðir, which is cozy and quiet hotel located under the glacier, we went on to the mountain road heading back to Ólafsvík.

Just before we turned left to start climbing the road up the mountain, we saw this gorgeous creature running aside the road trying to hide. But there was no where to hide, so it just kept running and stopping, running and stopping, running and stopping...and I kept driving chasing it trying to get a good picture.
Foxes have a reputation for being tricky, but no fox can trick me.

I manged to take several pictures of the creature, which I assume is still a puppy. You see, Arctic foxes are usually white with huge (expensive) tail. I believe putting my hands on this Arctic fox could have paid back our coffee and cake (Hotel Búðir is not cheap) and even might left something extra. But you see, I'm not a killer, at least not of foxes.
