Due the recent economy crisis, Arabs and their supporters are joining forces again trying to boost Israeli economy buy spreading "Boycott Israel" campaigns in many countries. In order to support their efforts I decided to make a list of products made in Israel for the people who live in the Icy rock.
If you live elsewhere, there are many websites which will provide you with the necessary information to support your cause.
The List:
Dr. Fischer. All products.
You don't want to purchase baby shampoo and by that support killing of Palestinian babies.
Fresh herbs.
Basil, arugula, mint, coriander and more are all products imported from the land of milk and honey.
Which are to be exact, grown on stolen Arab lands.
Arab land = Green / Jewish land = Red.
Dead Sea products.
Great for you skin, very bad for your conscious. Dead Sea product are made by extracting minerals from the Dead Sea using Israeli technology. If you are a woman (some men apply as well), I know it's tempting but try to control yourself. By the way, half of the Dead Sea is Arab anyway (Jordan) and the rest is mostly on Palestinian land, aka. the occupied territories, which makes it even worse.
A man reading an Arabic newspaper on the Dead Sea.
A must watch video for the very strict and dedicated who want to make sure no Israeli product will cross the door step of their home. It's a long list, I suggest you get your pen and paper ready.
Footnote for Jews and Israelis:
Israelis, Jews and their few supporters should engage in a counter boycott of products from Arabic origin. While trying to gather information to create a corresponding list, I found the task considerable easier. The only products Jew, Israelis and their supports should not purchase is oil (it's also bad for the environment!) and camels, of course.
Boycott Arab products. Don't buy camels.
Good luck for you all! Peace.

I love your splendid satire. This post reminds me somewhat of a piece I did some time ago in response to PETA trying to organize a boycott of maple syrup because it is iconically Canadian. It was effctive then and yours is now.
ReplyDeleteKeep it going!
Thanks Mika!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh, boycott on Maple syrup. And I thought Israel have problems. How wonder how many people died during history because of the maple syrup. I'm telling you, the world is going crazy. I also want to start boycotting something, I want to be original. I need to come up with a really ridiculous idea. How about breast milk?
mazel tov :)
ReplyDeleteyour video "Hamas indoctrination of Palestinian Kids" it is a revelation for us. We will publish it in our blog http://greeksagainststupidity.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteFeel free to add it to your blog. With a blog titled "Greeks against stupidity" I'm sure you got plenty of subjects to write about.

Boycotting breast milk?
ReplyDeleteCount me out.
The trouble is, most people today (especially those advocating boycotting Israel) don't understand satire and are impervious to irony. They will take this all seriously.
